The route from Skaidi to Adamselv is licensed due to increased security of supply and increased consumer development in eastern Finnmark. A new pipeline on this stretch will significantly improve the supply in the region and at the same time increase the capacity for new consumption in the east.
The prolonging from Adamselv to Varangerbotn is licensed due to an agreement with wind power players with licensed wind in Varanger. A new pipeline here will also provide capacity for some more wind as well as significantly increased capacity for new consumption.
